Handset and electronics business, one of the sectors worst hit by demonetisation, are looking at the government for relief.
“The electronics market moves from quarter to quarter. If the situation remains the same, then stocks of products will keep piling up and when new models are introduced, retailer and distributors will not have funds to bring them to the market. Hence, a government intervention will be necessary in January,” Sanchit Vir Gogia, Chief Analyst and CEO, Greyhound Research, told HT.
