In 2014, J. Walter Thompson Singapore launched the Guardian Angel personal safety accessory line in support of AWARE. Made of sterling silver and designed in shape of a halo, the Guardian Angel can be worn as a necklace or a bracelet.
The device has a secret button enabled by the Guardian Angel App (available on Apple App Store and Google Play Store). Press button once to trigger a fake incoming call, allowing you to excuse yourself from an uncomfortable situation. Press button and hold for three seconds to send SOS message to your emergency contact with a Google Map link to your location.
Hot Or Not? At Greyhound Research we believe the Guardian Angel is a good wearable safety accessory for women. Designed in Singapore, the Guardian Angel can be used anywhere in the world. Point to note, it uses simple text messaging so the emergency contact does not need to download any app or own a smartphone.
