For those still consolidating data estates or maturing their AI oversight frameworks, adoption could lag strategy. This isn’t an IBM flaw alone — it’s a broader industry problem. But it does mean the Lakehouse, despite its pragmatic design, may still overshoot the operational runway of many enterprises in 2025.
